A new Accrington Larch bench at Oakenshaw weir

May 2018 – We installed one of our ‘Coppice style benches on behalf of the Ribble River Trust (RRT) at Oakenshaw Weir in Clayton-le-Moors. The RRT has installed a new fish pass downstream of the weir which means that salmon can now use the pass to bypass the weir and venture further upstream.

Our benches are made from local Accrington larch trees that we fell and then plank to make products.
