We have been removing Maple and Rowen from a woodland at Plantation Rd to allow more room for native tree species. We ring barked some trees to provide some dead standing trees and brash piles to provide deadwood habitat. The non native trees have been replaced with 400 new native trees, including Crab Apple, Hawthorn, Wild Cherry and Oak.
